Area Attractions

Eight miles south is Newport where you can find shopping, family restaurants, oceanfront dining, movie theaters, the Aquarium, Yaquina Lighthouse, the Performing Arts Center, banks, ATMs, Post Office, video rentals, gift shops, art galleries, craft stores and antique shops.  South of Newport are the smaller towns of Seal Rock, Waldport, Yachats and Florence.

Five miles north is Depoe Bay, home of the smallest harbor in the world and the whale-watching capitol of Oregon. Here you'll find a variety of gift shops and restaurants. North 12 more miles is Lincoln City, where you can find shopping, the Outlet Mall, Casino, family restaurants, oceanfront dining, movie theaters, banks, ATMs, Post Office, video rentals, gift shops, art galleries, craft stores and antique shops.  North of Lincoln City are the smaller towns of Neskowin and Pacific City.

All of these cities have scheduled festivals and special events.
